DTS service covers the City of Grande Prairie and
extends out past city limits in a 5 km radius. Due
to the increasing demands on our service we urge
clients to book 48 in advance.
Last minute bookings will be taken, when possible
and priority will be given to medical appointments,
work, school, shopping and recreation, in this
order.
MEMBERSHIP & FARES
With an annual membership fee of just $10, DTS members pay a cash rate of $2.00 for each one way trip. Books of 20 tickets are available for $28.00 and a new frequent user option, a monthly pass, is available for $54.00. This allows the bearer to take up to 60 trips in any one calendar month.
The non-member rate is $2.50 for each one way trip.
CARRY ON BAGGAGE
Clients are asked to observe a reasonable limit to carry on baggage. Please do not bring more than you can comfortably carry, or attach to your wheelchair.
SUPPORT PERSONS
A support person travelling with a member will not be charged as an additional fare.
GOING FURTHER
Those needing to travel outside of the 5 km city radius should contact the DTS at 539-6720 to book a ride. These longer trips are charged at $20/hour for loading / travelling time and at $10/hour for stand-by time. All out of scope trips will depend on the availability of drivers.
